Week 3 - Prosthetics (hand)

This week we continued with Business and Ethic Forms

We was shown how to make a bald cap from scratch and I made a prosthetic hand too.

Using Algenate instead of silicone casting it was a good practice run on how to cast a body part and experiment with silicon and deadner to get the ratios right and also colour pigment. Final product shown in picture and I must say apart from the two finger tips it was a job well done (this is why we practice to finesse the final product) I must say when I bought it home my kids (7 & 9 yrs) absolutely loved it but didn't use it as the peace sign - they did have a little giggle which made me laugh.
