Image 2 Description - BUTTERFLY

The second photoshoot is based on the butterfly, this symbolises transformation. The model "Charlie" is a young white female - my main focus will be the wig along with the taxidermy butterflies. I have ethically purchased these from a company in Liverpool who have an authentic licence. The butterflies will be kept and I will make picture art from them as a momentum. This Image will hopefully take place outside at the "Pavilion" hotel garden in York. 

The image will have a natural themed wig with flowers, twigs, leaves and moss to create a tree/forest like effect almost whimsical. The costume designer will make the skirt for the model from recycled materials which I will provide. 

Pic 2 Butterfly – The model (Charlie)would be blooming from the cocoon (design appendix B), the wig would have real taxidermy butterflies (ethically sourced) through a reproable supplier, and these would be attached to the wig, the cocoon will be symbols of the butterfly written all over it representing – transformation, growth, freedom, rebirth.
